The Health Minister has confirmed that Manx Care’s forecasted spend exceeded its budget on all three reporting dates.
In response to Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper's written question about the 2025/26 forecast, Claire Christian said the overspend rose from £5 million in June to £9 million in July and August.
The full-year budget is £361.8 million, including a 2% efficiency target.
It also includes a £4.3 million uplift, with a £10 million contingency from Treasury added in August to help cover cost pressures.
